SWUKBO Roadshows

During 2007 SWUKBO launched a series of roadshows in the South West to help support the involvement of organisations in the region in the new EU funding programmes for 2007-2013. A total of eight events were held across the region, in Bath, Bristol, Cornwall, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Plymouth, Somerset and Wiltshire.

The roadshows were designed to bring together experts from the European and national level, including European Commission officials and National Contact Points, with individuals from the region who have experience of managing and developing European projects. In this way participants have been able to find out about the technicalities of the various programmes, whilst being able to see first hand successful case studies and examples of projects supported.

Since 2007, following the success of this first round of roadshows, we have run many other thematic events sometimes with a wider focus than EU funding. We already have a couple of events planned for 2010, which we are listing below. SWUKBO partners are invited to contact us with requests or suggestions for events.
