| Project description | Removal of 7.5mile bottleneck by re-dualling part of the Penzance-London mainline rail track, improving train time reliability, decreasing journey time by 8 minutes and enabling Train Operating Companies to reschedule services to better suit commuters. Project funded through the Rail Partnership Programme within the SRA, Network Rail, Cornwall County Council and Objective One with support from the TOCs. |
