Project descriptionTo provide 31,000sq ft of workspace in 19 units ranging from 750sq ft to 5,000sq ft incorporating local materials, a geothermal heating system, grey water system and energy efficient lighting. A standard of environmental design officially recognised by an award from the British Research Establishment Environmental Assessment with Tolvaddon scoring 9 out of a possible 10 points earning it a rating of excellent, the highest level possible. This project is another exemplar for meeting the environmental cross cutting theme, ie protection and improvement of the environment, prudent use of natural resources, opportunities for business from environmental goods, processes and services, raising awareness of the importance and value of the environment and promoting environmental policies.
