Universities South West is an independent, self-financing association of the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in SW England, working together and individually to make a significant contribution to the academic, economic, social and cultural development of South West England. We provide support across a wide range of activities in HE and are the central point of contact for regional organisations seeking to build partnerships with HE. Most of our work is carried out through partnership within the HE sector, and with key regional and national organisations. We encourage institutional leaders to engage in a shared agenda, working in partnership at all levels. We aim to extend the contribution of HE to sustainable regional development and competitiveness; and to influence and shape the social and economic agenda of the region.
