Livewire is a project aiming to provide music lessons to young people as a way of supporting and encouraging teenagers in their everyday life. As part of the project  a team of workers  provides music classes, support for groups and counseling for young people. The charity running the project has been in place since 1946 and has gained a national and international recognition.

Sailing to Achievement is a project funded by the Learning and Skills Council (LSC), through the European Social Fund (ESF). The project provides training activities in sailing skills to students from 14 to 19 years old, with the final aim of raising their skills and self-esteem and improving their teamwork abilities. This initiative, which involves two day training and a week-long sailing experience, provided as well the nine participants’ self-discipline, basic navigation, first aid and sea survival skills.
