South West Voluntary Value Programme is launched by Minister
The region’s new European Social Fund Technical Assistance programme for the voluntary sector was launched at the South West Forum’s annual conference in Bournemouth on 26th November by the South West Regional Minister Ben Bradshaw. This programme will be managed by the South West Forum which represents the voluntary and community sector in the region and the aid of match funding that is provided by the South West Regional Development Agency. South West Forum Chief Executive, Stephen Woollett expressed his delight about the support of the Minister and claimed that it was “a great opportunity to promote Voluntary Value to a wide audience”. He went on to describe how the programme will help voluntary and community groups in the South West to engage fully with the ESF Competitiveness programme in the aim to help them overcome the challenges that will be faced during the economic downturn.
