South West RDA releases hit “Creative Juices” video to promote creative industries in the region

The black humour film that features a farmer harvesting his “creative juices” was produced by the RDA in an attempt to lure advertising agencies to the region. It has subsequently become a cult hit on You Tube and has received over 135,000 hits. The video was launched by the RDA last year and has since spread via word of mouth, thus achieving the original aim of the viral video campaign. Chris Garcia, the Head of Creative Industries in the RDA has expressed his delight at the success of the campaign and stated that it was more cost effective that a traditional advertising campaign.
