Somerset hosts latest TC Workshop on Culture, Heritage & Tourism

Somerset County Council has hosted the latest in the  South West Territorial Cooperation network's series of themed workshops, which took place on 12 July at Somerset College of Arts & Technology in Taunton. This time, the topics covered at the event were Culture, Heritage and Tourism. It was an opportunity for key regional players in these sectors to come together to discuss potential projects and to find out more about Territorial Cooperation programmes and how they can be used to co-finance projects in the region. There were also programme facilitators present on the day, who were available to take questions and to give advice about project priorities, project eligibility, potential European partners and application processes etc.

A number of project ideas were put forward with good potential to be developed into a Territorial Cooperation application. More information about the format of this event and other future events are available on the SWUKBO website.
