SLIM successful in the Transversal Programme
The Skills and Learning Intelligence Module (SLIM), part of the University of Exeter, has received a grant under the Transversal programme, a stream of the wider Lifelong Learning programme, to host a study visit in Exeter in 2011. The international seminar “Creating a ‘demand-led’ VET system – the UK experience at regional and local level” will take place in March 2011 and will provide an opportunity for exchanging best practices and learn how a demand-led VET system is being built in Exeter, and gain insights into the strengths and weakness of other national strategies across the EU. With this initiative SLIM is aiming to exchange best practices and develop as well future innovative partnerships with European counterparts.
