Event on active citizenship in Cornwall

Take Part Cornwall is organizing on 11 February in KingsleyVillage (Fraddon) a free event on active citizenship, in partnership with the Parliamentary Outreach office.
The conference, “Your Voice”, will discuss ways in which citizens can participate and influence the decision making process in the UK and in Brussels. The agenda includes an interactive session of question and answers with the Speaker of House of Commons and different workshops which will give the participants an insight on how Cornwall Council, the House of Commons and the European Parliament work. First rank speakers such as Dr. Michael Shackleton, Head of the UK Office of the European Parliament, will contribute to the event. For more info, click here.
