ERDF Competitiveness & Convergence Annual Events

The second annual event on the European Regional Development Funds (ERDF) will take place in Exeter on 18 March 2010. The event is organised by the South West RDA and the ERDF Competitiveness and Employment Programme and will give an overview of the different projects and the achievements done to date. The programme includes a networking session, an interactive question and answer questions with the speakers and lunch.
The Competitiveness and Employment Programme, one of the three objectives of the ERDF, seeks to enhance prosperity in the South West by focusing on competitiveness, innovation and a knowledge-based economy.

Another of the three objectives of ERDF in the South West is the Convergence Programme for Cornwall, and the Convergence Programme Annual Event will be taking place on 25 February at the Eden Project in Cornwall. Also organised by the South West RDA, Convergence partners will be reviewing Programme achievements during 2009 and looking forward to activity in 2010. There will also be the opportunity to talk to individuals about the impact of investments made.
