Dance South West successful in Channel Programme project bid
Bournemouth based Dance South West has been working with partners in Normandy to put together a project, part funded by the Cross Border Channel Programme, which was approved at the recent Programme Monitoring Committee meeting in June.
The project, called DansCE Dialogues, will be led by Dance South West and aims to set up Cross Channel Networks to bring together artists in the South West region with those working in Normandy, France, to build partnerships and develop lasting projects into the future.
The French partner is the ODIA (Artistic Information Development Office of Normandy), which is a professional organisation that assists performing arts professionals to develop their activities.
Kate Castle, Executive Director of Dance South West, said that she is thrilled that the project bid has been successful and is looking foward to the first project meeting in Paris on Monday 5 July.
