EU Policies & Programmes

The South West of England actively engages in European policies and programmes, which provide an additional source to achieve emerging regional aims. The South West European Partenrship works with its clients to ensure that the European dimension is embedded in regional strategic planning. The European dimension is becoming increasingly important in the activities of the South West, both in terms of rural, energy, environment and fisheries policies and in terms of research, education, culture and innovation programmes.
