Citizenship
The cultural partnership approach, which brings together local authorities, the cultural community and cultural enterprises in the South West, aims to improve the quality of these activities as well as to support the further development of the emerging sector of the creative industries including advertising, architecture, arts and antiques markets, crafts, design, film and video, music, performing arts, publishing, television and radio. As outlined in the Regional Economic strategy, the South West is also committed to creating “a more just society by increasing participation, involving communities in decision making and valuing the diversity that makes the region attractive.”
